Yeah, my friend made the mistake of buying a 4 door auto cavalier... and he had $4500 to spend. They gay jokes were never ending until he sold it.

this is exactly what im thinking about doing with the couple grand i have saved up. i want to buy a junker because i dont trust the jackasses at my school. a few months ago some black guy and his girlfriend came and broke into 12 trucks and stole speakers and every other item worth money out of trucks. they also think its funny to mess with each others cars. i dont trust them. a junker would also be good for rainy/snowy/bad weather. good luck with the find bud.

Where were you guys when I was in high school I wish someone would have talked me out of half the cars and trucks I tore up Id just stick it out with the escort and save money Its hard once you get bit by the mod bug

i almost bought a fox instead of my 96.
i took it to my neighbor (being a gear head, through an 89 5.0 into a 64.5 ragtop.)
he said "ac doesnt work, has a sound system, has hail damage, paint is faded, rear mirror needs replaced, never heard of the shop that rebuilt the motor... how much?"
"$4,900.00 obo."
"wow... no... if you can get it for $2500.00 do it. otherwise, just walk away."

then i got my sex-alicious 96 instead.

id say the exact same thing... maybe lower. 2500.00 max. that thing needs love.
