What's a good grease to use on the throw out bearing and bearing shaft? I don't want stuff breaking down and spraying all over the clutch. Thanks!

I haven't done it in so long but I do not recall doing so. If I remember correctly our TOB and Pilots are supposed to be dry installs. Just make sure to use Motorcraft products on both of these items.

I am surprised others have not chimed in yet.

Grease on a bearing that's spinning closely to the clutch?!?!? How well does a greasy clutch grab?!?!

Deff don't need grease, maybe you're thinking about using grease or bread to get the rear main out?

Ha......ha......ha......[emoji52]I figured the actual people at LMR might know what they're talking about.

But the consensus here is don't use it, so I won't. Thanks for your help guys......and smart ass at the end. Lol!

I always put a thin coat of wheel bearing grease on the transmission input shaft. Don't go crazy and throw a big glob on it. Just a light skim is what i put on everything i have ever done a clutch job on.
