Well we are trying to figure out how to make a mock spoiler that needs to be either plexiglass or aliminum and how to get it to curve right and flow with the trunklid.

Old thread. Doing some research and found it. Figuring out the curve/angle is the big one. Not so easy, but I think I got it. Template is done. I planed on making it myself using sheetmetal cause I have the welder set up for steel but a local business owner has offered to do it for me in aluminum in return for me running his logo on my car.

Hello old thread... back from the dead I see.

Maier racing makes this one - same as what is on Brett's car. I believe it is fiberglass, and adjustable. Nice piece.

Watching for an update as well. Though I'm hoping to have my real GR40 spoiler within the next couple of months.

It's been on order for a while now, but there were major problems with the company that moulds them for Griggs. So now Griggs is sending the master mould to another company to have produced. These pieces are not simply laid up and vacuum bagged. They use an autoclave to produce these pieces in carbon.

What did you pay in shipping? I tried getting a quote from them but never had anyone respond back.

I believe that shipping is included in the price. I wasn't charged any extra for shipping on mine as of yet. And I hope I don't with as long as I've been waiting for it.

I've called several times and have spoken to Bruce himself and also someone they hired to help customer service named Alex. I've even received email updates from Alex.

anyone know the Height of the Griggs spoiler????

I know, I just revived this old ass thread once again....

I wish I could tell ya. But alas I still have not gotten the spoiler.
I know they found another company to produce them, but they were having troubles with the mould. I'm hoping that the problems have all been figured out and they can start production soon.

looks like 6-8 inches. You can make one out of lexan. I did, total cost with some expensive support rods, $275. $220 was in support rods.
