gt40, e303 cam questions???

i just bought a 94 5.0 ho.stock everything.


i bought gt40 heads (not gt40p)
and the e303 cam.
i just need to know if the gt40 heads and e303 cam will fit directly and if not what do i need for them to fit.
and what am i going to need to do for swapping the heads and cam.

anything information helps thank you.

You will not have issues with fitment. However you will want to upgrade your intake manifold and replace the gaskets of the intake and heads.

Alrighty cool.I have all the gaskets for an entire rebuild.
as far as the manifold what intake will i need?

Depends on your buget. You can go with the gt40 upper and lower or get a trick flow set up. There are tons of products you can go with. Also you might think about upgrading your valve springs.

Find a gt40(explorer/cobra) or used trick flow intake. But remember that with the explorer or TFS intakes you will need the TB elbow

get some lower intake bolts. your factory ones are probally rusted out and break alot of times(the rear two). dont forget coolant, oil, and filter. i got p heads, e cam, and an edelbrock performer 5.0 manifold. i plan to put some 1.7 roller rockers on soon also. the car is a fun budget street car. with the cam you might want to get some gears.with these computers being so picky you might want to tune it.

LOOK AT MY stuff FS. The TFS intake,elbow and the bbk longtubes would be a great edition to these!!!!!

i was wondering wich was better.... i am running a stock 94gt but planning on getting a set of trickfolw heads and putting a cam in it...... but was curious which route i should go with the intake??????

If your doing TFS heads, do a TFS intake. TFS makes them to work together, so that would be your best bet. You can pick up a used upper/lower for around $350

If it doesn't sell im not worried about it. It'll go on the car with a set of gt40's and all the other stuff i have in the Garage :)
