Hi everyone, I have the upper, lower and elbow I'm installing. I bought a 70mm throttle body which I just got today.

The throttle body is smaller where it bolts to the elbow?

The TB is for my 95 GT, but I assume I needed to buy a different one.

What can I do now? Can I buy a different elbow, or ?

    Steve

You could grab a 70mm tb adapter. Summit sells them

So the adapter is bigger on one side and smaller on the other?

Since both the elbow and TB is 70mm, the TB is about a half inch smaller diameter so the 4 holes don't line up - if you know what I mean

If I'm understanding right. The 4 bolts for the tb to the elbow don't line up?

Yes that's it - the gt40 elbow is a 1/2 in longer (square) where the TB is rectangle and shorter - so the holes are way off on two of them

    What parts do you have?

    intake upper?
    elbow?
    t/b?

brands? Maybe some pics if you can?

There should be no issues of stuff bolting up if you have the right components.

The elbow will not work with that tb. Its not the correct one. You need the elbow designed for the 94-95 mustangs with aftermarket intakes. The tb is correct but the elbow looks like its off a explorer.
