GUYS SERIOUSLY HELP ME PLEASE

okay so as i was pulling into my neighborhood my car started spewing steam, so pull into the driveway and pop the hood and none of the lines are busted and its coming from around the intake manifold...near a coolant sensor in the front...wtf is going on? please help! :crying: im gonna have to cycle to work but i think i craked my intake...is this even possible?!?!

i mean have these things ever had problems with craking the crossover? i thought that was only on the PI cars?

my 97 had a brace installed, i think in a recall, that prevented this.

But yeah those plastic intakes- they were notorious for exactly what just happened to you.

yep all NPI cars as seriously prone to cracking intakemanifolds when I had my 98gt before I sold it for the Cobra the IM cracked at 75k miles, exactley like yours pulled into my development spewing smoke haha

yeah i think im gonna go ahead and just hop on the livernois PI intake swap thinggy...ill call em on monday...

i have all brand new PI swap setup, all new ford Parts, i'm just a hop skip and a jump down I-26 from you I'm selling it :dunno:

My intake also cracked. I just put the parts together and did the PI intake. Probably cost me...~$300 after all the misc parts you need. Go on corral.net and you can find a PI intake for around $100, get one with the aluminum crossover.
