h pipe removal issues

are they always a pita? we broke the drive off of an extension, twisted a universal joint that was less than 10minutes old! somehow my buddy got shocked on the passenger side. we fought the hell out the manifold bokts and still have the top passenger side to get off. so any suggestions?

1) yes they are not the easiest walk in the park.....
2) dont use inferior tools and youll be fine.
3) disconnect the battery so you wont et shocked on the passenger side from the starter.....
4) use penetrating oil 1 week in advance and spray the bolts as the car sits over night and it should loosen up for you


u joints, extnesions, wobble sockets and patience will be your friend

hosed all the bolts with mpl well over an hour before we started. we dont use inferior tools, well craftsman to me isnt inferior, you must live on a mac/cornwell/snap on/ matco truck; so i guess yours are superior as price suggests.

No hand toll should break if its well designed, even craftsmen normally wont break unless its used improperly....
