Dyno Time!!!

So, I REALLY wanted to see what HP/TQ numbers I got with the PI motor swap. I also wanted to make sure my work was running smooth. I have put almost 5,000 miles on the new motor and already did 1 oil change and almost to the second oil change. Since I knew the car felt like it was running great, i decided to make the conformation!!! Decided to make an Appointment With Greg@Racer's Edge Tuning in Downey, CA. Thanks to TMPS for covering my Dyno Fees!!!

The Power Mods on the Motor Goes as Follows... The power mods were exactly the same on the NPI motor and the PI motor

- 2001 P.I. Motor (Romeo Build)
- MRT Cold Air Intake
- FRPP 9mil Wires
- MSD Coil Packs
- UPR (Pypes) O/R X-Pipe
- Bassani Catback
- Diablo Handheld Tuner

Max RWHP: 255
Max RWTQ: 299

Gain of 44 RWHP and 16 RWTQ!!!

I also Detailed the Engine cause I wanted it to look great *:thumbsup:

Runs like clockwork.... Not a flaw. Pretty much runs as well as when i bought the car years ago..... Feels just the way I like it.

Auburn Diff and 3.73s make it very peppy.

You are the only damn guy i know that puts tire shine on everything rubber to go to the damn dyno! I respect that though, you and your numbers. Im not hatin, im just sayin.

Ok if he has cams then there is a problem. I made the same hp with my PI motor, that was before I added the 70mm TB and the UD pulleys....hoping for 260 next dyno day. He made a little more torque than me but his #'s are spot on for a bolt on PI 2v.

Don't forget, hp numbers are VERY VERY VERY tempermental to the day, car, the unit itself and the person running it. HP #'s are less of a measurement of power but rather a tuning tool and display of efficiency

I understand what your saying. Did he have the 270's in the NPI motor that made 213whp? My NPI made 211/278 with bolt ons and a PI intake, I thought I would have made more than that, Then again I didnt think my PI motor would make as much as it did

It's handz being full of shit as usual claiming he had a tremec and other shit in his car. Nice numbers I'll say that.
