i just got my pro products intake elbow in the mail. when i bolted it to the intake the four bolts that bolt the elbow to the manifold on the bottom there is not enough space for a bolt to get in there and go in the hole

I believe the edelbrock elbows have the same problem, you have to drill them out some.

to get my pro product's throttle body to bolt up to my stock cobra intake, i had to use a 3/8 drill bit to get it on. i also used it on a small drill press, which took forever to drill through. thats cause its a cheapo drill press and it doesn't spin at a high rpm to cut through metals, mostly for wood. but got the job done.

Had the same problem with a professional products intake. Its an easy fix just as the others said. Drill the holes out and clean up the shavings if there is any on the tb.

i ran into the same problem with my eddy elbow. rather than drilling a hole out of the manifold and making it useless in case i decide to go fox tb, i used bolts on the other three holes , ran a bolt on the other side of the manifold and used it as a stud. then i put a nut on it and it works like a champ. i will post pics if needed.

Would it be possible to drill out the flange on the intake manifold, then tap the elbow for a bolt, then run the bolt backwards from the intake flange side?
