Having a problem with my car

For about a week now i noticed the exhaust only on the passanger side sounds different it sounds like its not getting full power when im giving it gas sounds like something is misfireing but only on the passenger side idk kinda weird anyone have some ideas? thanks guys

Ummm... Keeping it simple:

Inspect plugs, wires, dist. cap & rotor for damage first as it's quick & cheap.

If no change, pull all plugs and perform compression test on all cyl's.

That will get ya started,

Hopefully it's not compression.. My friend has a fox that has 3 low compression cylinders on one side and his car runs high 15's low 16's. It's not good.

I think what he's getting at is, you might want to check for an exhaust leak on that side. Maybe the RH manifold or connection to the exhaust pipe. OR is your EGR pipe loose or leaking?

What mods do you have?

changing the passenger side exhaust manifold/header gasket is a pain to change compared to the driver's side if you still have all the smog stuff.

Actually what I was leaning toward is the cat material coming apart and clogging the pipe on that side. but looking for leaks would be far off base either

ok just so everyone thats tried to help me out i have o/r h-pipe with longtubes and my buddy looked at it today the egr valve broke off the header so its goota be a exhaust leak that making the shitty sound so should i replace the egr valve it or just by pass it with just putting caps on it?
