Headlight problems

OK well heres my problem..... my car had the battery dead for about 2 weeks and now the headlights dont work but the highbeams do?

It could be that connector behind the headlight knob. Do your parking lamps work? How about you cluster, does that light up?

wait im trippin which ones are the parking lamps


edit*** Yeah they work every thing works but my headlights and my one foglight. Ive only got one fog right now.

check your fuses, if nothing, then pull out the harness, then pull out the bulbs, and take a volt meter to the 2 wires in the connector. If you have no power with the lights on, then put the bulb back in and work your way backwards looking for any shorts or bare peices of wire. Good luck

Its weird tho because they did work before the battery died for 2 weeks and its weird my Highbeams work, I mean it all comes from the same bulb right?

No they are 2 separate bulbs

Really? thats weird Cuz I only put in one headlight bulb and it worked before now. I know the corners have their own but the actual headlight?

check the electrical plug behind switch in dash i found mine burt to a crisp i replaced electrical plug light switch and bulbs in instrument panel i still dont have dash lights on my 95 they have all kind of electrical problems.i think they knew this atford and just put bigger alt.now as time has gone by all the electrical plugs and shit is melting up.dont really know what causes it they has aftermarket sterio in my car that did not help things
