So I've been debating what I should do to my motor. GT40 top end, or a full trickflow top end kit. I decided against both and picked the following. Figure I should make a lot more power on this setup than a normal GT40 top end.
Edelbrock Performer EFI Intake Manifold (Upper & Lower)
Edelbrock Throttlebody Adapter (70MM)
E303 Camshaft
SR 70mm throttlebody
MAC Aluminum Underdrive Pulleys
Ford Racing Turbo Swirl GT40X Aluminum Heads (64CC)
Comp Cams High Energy 3/8in Stud Roller Rocker Arms- 1.6 Ratio
Ford Racing High Performance Pushrods
Ford Racing Hydraulic Lifter Kit
Ford Racing EV6 High Flow Injectors - 24lbs
Ford Racing Jetronic To USCAR Fuel Injector Adapter Kit
BBK Billet Mass Air Meter (76mm)- for 24lb injectors
Walbro 255 Lhp High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit

What else will I need? The heads say they're fully assembled all I need is roller rockers. Do they come with lifters? I'll tie this up with a SCT chip or custom dyno tune. Think I should have no issue getting close to 300 rwhp.

I'm gonna need lifters. Ford racing hydraulic lifters it is. Might aswell do some nice valve covers too while I'm at it. With everything priced out, all this will be just over $3k. Not bad at all. I've looked at trickflow heads and edelbrock, afr, too expensive and I really don't want to get them used. I think this setup will be more suitable for what I'm looking for. Shooting for low 13s with this setup. Definitely going to need some good tires, bigger brakes and a good suspension. Can't wait to start piling up parts!

You should get into corral.net and start posting a little bit and look for used Brodix, trickflow or afr 165 heads and try to get a Holley intake, or Edelbrock performer II intake and a trickflow stage one cam. Best combo to reach 300 rwhp maybe even more. Gt40 aluminum heads expensive for the low number they usually put out. Just make sure to check the good/bad sellers reviews first, and spend a little to have the heads checked at a shop. Buying new is cool but for the nick nacks like throttle body, bolts, or valvetrain.
