? heads for vortec supercharged 5.0

I am looking to buy some new heads for my 95 gt w/5.0 @ 6-8 lb.. I don't want to spend mre than a $1000.00
so I have found a couple of options GT40x303 aluminum heads 1.95in/1.60ex or World winsor sr. cast iron heads 2.02in/1.60 ex they are both
the same price. I have a 93 GT40 intake manifold ported that I will be using with them. Which head would you buy.
they will be going on a stock 95 short block.

Im not sure if the Winsor Sr heads will work with stock pistons because of the 2.02 intake valve.

I would not recommend either head, I would just fork out an extra couple hundred dollars and either get some AFR's or Trick Flow's. Both AFR and Trick Flow will shine over the GT-40 heads.

I beg to differ the x heads work just fine. I have used them for years and make just as much power with them if not more than other with afr and trickflow combos.

a set of ported heads can be just as good as GT40 heads and half the price.

ya but port a good head to start with.If not you will spend the $ twice.because we all have the need for speed and power and that takes a head that will flow.thats IMO
