Hello My name is Shannon! I never really been on a forum before so take it easy. This forum is about my favorite car! So I like you guys already! I love the new edge body style. I dont own one yet but saving up for a V6 I dont need a fast car so the V6 is fast enough for me. What I truly want a convertable with a custom paint job that I could be proud of. I have a husband that owns a cobra so if I want fast I will just take a ride with him.

I love to drive fast! So I know to get the slowest stang. Do GTs take regular gas or a higher octane?

You can do either. I put V-Power in mine, but I try to pamper it

yeah I heard that too with the reinforced sides to make it safer since no hard top.

I test drove a V6 when I was 20 and after the first 10 mins I got pulled over. The po Let me off with a warning but I had the car going the fastest it could go. I would be to tempted to run if I had a fast cobra or somthing! So slow is the way to go.:evil: posting pics just might do it!

anyways, welcome! I, too, suggest a V8. They aren't as quick as they sound - especially in a convertible. They'll be fast enough to merge onto the highway at a safe speed, but slow enough you dont make the hubby pee his pants.
