Hello My name is Shannon! I never really been on a forum before so take it easy:p. This forum is about my favorite car! So I like you guys already! I love the new edge body style. I dont own one yet but saving up for a V6 I dont need a fast car so the V6 is fast enough for me. What I truly want a convertable with a custom paint job that I could be proud of. I have a husband that owns a cobra so if I want fast I will just take a ride with him.

Welcome! Take your time on the car search. Dont rush into buying anything unless it's perfect. And what part of Indiana are you from? I from southern Indiana (Jeffersonville) right across the river from Louisville KY

"Hi' from another gal Mustang fan! I've got a '96 convertible GT and love it, if you happen to find an affordable V8, get it. You don't need to worry about it being too fast. The weight added by the top makes the larger engine worth it

OK
I love to drive fast! So I know to get the slowest stang. Do GTs take regular gas or a higher octane?

Welcome! I think a v6 would be fine for you, everyone under rates the v6. Hope you find a good deal!

You should post pics of the cobra!

I test drove a V6 when I was 20 and after the first 10 mins I got pulled over. The po Let me off with a warning but I had the car going the fastest it could go. I would be to tempted to run if I had a fast cobra or somthing! So slow is the way to go. posting pics just might do it!

Welcome

Dont know if my car would be considered custom paint since it was still a Ford color (just never offered on a SN95) but it is for sale

says the dude witha built motor and a blower? ?? ? ? ? LOL!O!L!O!LO!L

anyways, welcome! I, too, suggest a V8. They aren't as quick as they sound - especially in a convertible. They'll be fast enough to merge onto the highway at a safe speed, but slow enough you dont make the hubby pee his pants.
