How would they know how much power it puts out?

If they suspect anything, they will throw it on a dyno. A garage can request that if they are a-holes during a MOT, the police can request that if they stop you, etc. Though. If it were 300 HP, it would technically still be legal for me lol. Even on a dyno test. Only the insurance can whine about it having more HP.

So if it made 450whp and passed emissions with flying colors they would be up in arms???

Naw, just don't give the popo a reason to send your car to inspection. Never had a problem in 20 years of driving a modified car.

300 HP Since it's registered as a 260 HP car. And we can have a max of a 20% difference.

I was going to say how many people are you going to find in europe to know when they switched motors? I mean I would expect as long as they pop the hood and it says ford your good to go.

As long as I don't have to show the convertible top itself... Yeah sure! I will make some soon! I thought I had a few left on my phone but I don't. Good excuse to make some more!

I will pull her out of storage next week. But for now, here she is in storage.

The underside only has surface rust. The suspension needs work cause it's old and oily, and the roof has been repaired already around the rear window. Due to the age, the seal around it has become brittle and broken. I patched it up recently to make it more waterproof, but I just need an entire new roof tbh.

I have not thought about a proper name yet. I did have a few ideas but I didn't like them.

I will have a look at the build thread! I already posted something in the General Tech with a question about spacer size.

I saw that and was a bit confused as this was initially meant as a 'hello I'm new here!' post.
Would be it possible for me to make a new post purely about the build? And move this post to the welcome thread? If there is one.

Starting with 213hp, your biggest leap forward to the 400hp mark will be via a supercharger. But, you are wise to fix the small issues first before they become larger issues and then start your performance mods from a solid foundation. What are the “small issues” you’re talking about? Maybe we can help…

This was the issue I mentioned. The grinding noise comming from roughly the clutch area: https://www.streamable.com/ptnia8
The weird thing is, I pulled it out of storage yesterday, after I drove it 2 months ago (health issues) and it sounded fine. No noises. Today while it was idling, I heard it again. But not so loud as it used to be. Quite a strange one.
