I need a little help. I just put an MMR 5.0 Stroker shortblock in my 98 Cobra. They also did their Stage 2 port and polish job on my B heads. I installed Comp stage 3 blower cams though the car is not supercharged yet(gotta reload the wallet). The motor has 18cc dish pistons so it should put the compression at around 9 to 1. My big problem is that i am only running at about 5-6 inches of vacuum at idle. The car idles ok when it is cold, but dies when at idle when it warms up. I have sprayed 2 cans of carb cleaner trying to see if I can find any vacuum leaks with no luck. Any help or suggestions would be MUCH appeciated. :dontknow:

You need to have a cylinder leakdown test down. That will help you locate the problem. Did you get your readings from a vacuum gauge? If so, what was the needle acting like?

It does fine on compression checks on all cylinders. I did not look at the needle, the tuner did. He says it stayed pretty steady around 5-6 inches.
