HELP NEEDED I CAN'T FIND WHAT IS WORNG.

I am on the way back to school from picking my var up from getting painted and im in 5th and it jerks a little so i think i mite have hit a pothole then it does it agin and i notice that the rpm's r droping. and in the middle of traffic it dies. i try to strt it while it is rolling and nothing so i try to pop start it and i get just the engine trying to turn over. i wait a lil bit about 5 min. try it again and it srts rite up. i can't find out whats wrong. i have mods done to it but it never did this before

Sounds like maby the spark plugs or the wires are breaking down

mine did the same thing. mine was the pickup in the dizzy. put in a reman one from parts store and it did it again after a week. Finally paid up and got a brand new dizzy from ford and no more problems

how much was the pickup about. and i have a new cap and rotor and coil just need to put it on next is plugs wires and the pickup ill c if it works

The Stator or PIP sensor is about $40. It's just a bit difficult to replace without a press but can be done. That's why most will just buy a reman dizzy.

well i went through the engine bay just looking for somthing obvious thinking it wouldn,t b there and stairing right at me is a totaly screwed sparkplug wire tht has been arching i think i got the problem

def try fixing that, but it sure sounds like the pip sensor in thre diz.
