I just ordered a set of Tokico HP shocks and struts and Eibach Sportline springs from StangSuspension.com. The struts that they sent me were the Fox part number. I don't know if it's because I got the springs at the same time or if that's what they sell all the time, but either way the car handles great.

+1000000 on MM products. I have a lot of MM products, including control arms, on both my Mach and Cobra, and I wouldn't change them for anything. I have read several posts on Mach1Registry and SVTPerformance about UPR control arms and cc plates failing under load. I feel that the suspension isn't something you want to fail, whether you're going down the 1/4 mile, hitting some twisties, going around a road course or heading to work. MM quality is top notch!

To clarify the issue here, read up on MM's site, they have great technical information.

Aftermarket upper contol arm with stiff bushings transfer force into the floorpan of the car - called the torque box.
Sure you can run that way, and like I said - straight line and normal street driving you'll be "fine"

however, if you want the suspension to articulate correctly durring street driving, especially with increased power - STOCK or FFRP uppers are the only way, unless you go with a TA, and get rid of them all together (like I did.)
Hope that helps. :)

I have adjustable uppers, and upr tubular lowers. I have HBK sport shocks and struts, but those came on the car when I bought it. If I were to replace them, I would go with Strange Adjustables All The Way. I don't see anything wrong with adjustable upper's, I run at the track, but by no means am I a track dog. Although, when I do race, I want to know that I can launch the car and not have a problem with a junky 60'.

I say go for it...suspension is one of the best things you can do to the car without spending money on power adders. Hell I was cutting 1.9 60's in my 94 gt with the factory rear end, and stock 3.08 gears. Only had a midpipe, catback, intake, and (adjustable) control arms......oh yea! can't forget the driver mod ;) haha

you will love them just set it for 5 all around to start.

is that a good setting i was reading for street or drag ...seems like 3-4 is drag and 4-5 is street....so higher is stiffer and lower is softer right

My opinion on a nice street suspension for the rear....for starters/basic stock Uppers, and a set of the basic Lakewood lowers with the urethane bushings...then go crazy from there as the need or driving situation dictates....
