My 95 cobra Is having a problem , I'm not shure what's going on.
It will run perfect fo a couple of days, then it will start to have poor throttle
response while driving like a very bad hesitation and an occasional back fire.
Sometimes at idle the RPM's will jump to around 1200 and I can hear air
being pulled in by motor. I pulled the codes there were several for oxygen
sensors and a couple for EGR.
Any one have any ideas?

Re: 95 cobra needs help

Bad or dirty MAF sensor. Try cleaning out the sensor with denaturated alcohol (I believe that's how you spell it)

My car has done this a couple times. Once after i cleaned my air filter and put new oil and another after i drove through puddles. Both times i solved it by cleaning my maf with maf specific cleaner.

sounds like a vacuum leak , post the actual code numbers you got from it , they will point you in the right direction to fix it for sure

The codes are: 172,173,181,186,189,327,334.
I cleaned the MAF, EGR valve, air intake temp,
it has improved but still not where it should be

Sounds like the computer is running the IAC fairly open, and is trying to compensate for a rich A/F mixture. Id try the O2 sensors.
