Nice doin things with your pop huh Hicks? Me and my Dad would do everything together. Hunt, fish, baseball, football, cars, you name it we were buds. He drove a truck for 35yrs. When i was in HS i worked on the loading docks same company. He was a mairne (Korea) and tuff as nails. I try to be the same way with my kids. Ill never forget the times we had together and you wont either. Things are different today. Most Moms are working and Dads just dont have time on there hands. Good to see your Dad makin time for you.

Welp, we got the heads today. The AFR 185's were scale'ing up in the 1600's and 1700's
So me and dad asked Higgens and they lead us on to soem Elderbrock or twisted wedge

So we just picked up some Twisted wedge heads today for 1450
Yea, the AFR's wouldof been nice but i couldn't pull it off.
But we are shopping for a Intake now, and another cam which i know makes alopt fo you happy lol...
So we got alittle less of a Head, but we will try to make it up through the intake and some other mods.
25hp diffrence tho, insane >.<
The guy who had some Twisted wedge's said he ported his to 190cc something and he ran 11's in a Notch Fox
He showed us his car and it sounded awesome!!!

But now on to diffrent subjects, we are getting a diffrent mustang for the engine to go in.
Hopefully a manual, but if we find a good deal on an automatic we will get it probly.

I think we are doin pretty good so far, we are getting some Decent stuff for our money.
So the engine will turn out good. Everyones kindof expecting it to put down 350
Which is plenty for me.

I'll get pics of the Heads soon, and new cam when we get it.

We got Trickflow Twisted wedge heads for my car, couldn't afford the AFR's, they seem to say 1300 then somehow end up being 1600-1700 lol...

These were the closest we could get to them with a 170cc port, not to bad
the cam should be changed soon

We are building the bottum end now, pistons went in and we had to stop and restart due to us putting on the rods wrong
I wished somone would make us a detailed list of what small things we have to look for building an engine lol

its looking good hicks, those heads are a lot better than stock so dont be dissapointed. i know this guy with a setup close to urs , except afrs, f cam, with a tune it made 320rwhp but 415 ft lbs of torque!!!!!!so ur going to make some good power thats for sure.
