I bought the conversion kit for my headlights! I just bought the bulbs for my fog lights though. They look just as bright as my HL! I'm going to buy them for my friend with the 94 GT. If the bulbs are just as good. That will save me a lot of $.

Example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Xenon-HID-Head-Light-Bulbs-94-95-96-97-98-Ford-Mustang_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem290285984036QQitemZ290285984036QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Do y'all have just the bulbs in their HL's? Post pics if you can. Thanks!!

Sorry, but what does that really mean? I've seen this, but have never understood it! Does 'subscribing' mean you do not know the answer, but would like to read the answer? Thanks!!

I personally wouldnt waste my money on those. They are just a bulb. I believe true HID kits come with new wiring, balast, ect. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I hear what you are saying! Here's the only thing though! I have the conversion kit for my HL, my fogs are just the bulbs though! They are just as bright! The kit cost me $113, bulbs went for $18! My cousin has a 04 Tahoe, I think! She has the 6000K bulbs in it. Just as bright as mine. I'm thinking on buying just the bulbs. If they go out in a month, just buy new ones. Am I thinking right? It's been a very long day! I'm about all thought out.

I think we are on different pages. I know the HID Conversion comes with special bulbs that just work with it. I am thinking of buying the HID bulbs, not conversion bulbs though. That link I posted are them. I'm thinking that they shine just as good. If I can buy this, it will save me a lot of $.

I don't think any bulb will replace true HID. Save and get the true kit.

Again, you are not getting what I am trying to convey! Sorry, I cannot get my thoughts into make sense-able words!! I know it will not be a true HID system. I will just have her try these, I think. If it doesn't work, like I really think it will, I'll just buy the conversion kit. Thanks!

I know what your saying. You are not understanding what I am saying. I am saying that just "HID" bulbs are not going to be able to compare to "True HID"

I tried every friggen bulb available over the years and none came close to the light output of my 4300k HID kit from Stangmods. I have PIAA foglight bulbs and they make no difference at all with the HIDS on. I will convert the fogs to HID when i get a Cobra front bumper cover someday.

if youre getting an HID kit, get projectors that are meant for those bulbs. HID's arent meant to be used in halogen headlamp housings, they give off a very bad light output, and if you want to get technical, its illegal.

Amber I think i am going to do that also once i get a clear lenses for the fogs. Living next to Creeks and rivers sometimes sucks in the fog.
