There are many factory vehicles equipped with HID headlights that are not in projector housings thus proving you do not NEED projectors to not blind other drivers. The headlights you're experiencing are probably not aimed correctly.

yes, there are, but these non-projector housings are also specially designed for HID's and have a glare-shield.

I could say yes and no, my stock headlights don't shine light all over the place, they are very well aimed and focused beams and with HIDs it will be the same, just brighter. People make way too big of a deal out of putting HIDs in stock housings, if the housing has a clear lense and is focused well it's not a big deal. I've seen aftermarket HIDs in civics, explorers, camaros, MUSTANGS, etc. and I have never been "blinded."

you do not currently have HIDs, therefore your opinion about what HIDs in your stock-style headlights will be like carries little, if any, weight
I'm sorry. I'll be sure to make a thread and post pics after i get them. :thumb:

i think if properly aimed they can look okay. it took forever to aim my projectors correctly.

mind if i ask where you got the projectors installed? ive been dying to do this to my car

I bought them from a member here and off svtp. Installed them in an hour and got them alligned. then i found out what bulb size they take and bought an HID kit and put it in. Not too bad, i think you can still find them on ebay. I believe Judd has them on his mystic as well, but he has chrome. Im still wanting to put them in the dodge. I went from not being able to see much at night to being able to see alot i love it.

I just sold mine like Judd has to a member on here, They look good on most cars, but some they dont and laser red is one they dont. They should look good on his color car though. I think hes putting hids on them also.

lol, that would be me. :coolsmiley:

for some reason the ones on his car look like they are the ones that are retrofitted in the stock housings, thats why i was kinda interested in knowing about them. if those are the same ones you sold me, now i wanna see them installed on my car! but first things first: radio, ignition, HIDs....
