well im sick of the stock shifter on my t5 and looking to buy something new. I am wanting a short throw of some kind but just not sure what one i want. I was thinking either a mgw or a b&m ripper but i dont know. Which one would you guys suggest.

I just picked up a B&M Ripper (not pro ripper) this summer and its definitely shorter than stock but still not super short. I'm already used to it and want to go shorter. Also its pretty notchy going from 2-3.

I have the same shifter as well and like it. The 2-3 is a little notchy I feel also...

I got it very cheaply so I can't complain...

has anyone ever had any other shifter other than the one you have now. What were the +'s and -'s of each.

As I mentioned in my shifter thread on my last GT I tried a cheap no name from American muscle, it was better then stock but not by much. Had the adjustable stops which was a plus but never had that nice feel going into gear and even though it had centering springs 2nd-3rd shift was still not easy

Switched to a Steeda shifter and couldn't be happier

I have also used Hurst comp shifters on past cars and always loved the feel of those as well but feel the Tri-ax is a perfect shifter for the SN95
