heres the hood up close...
is it bad that im using this oil? ive used it for about 2 years now and have no complaints5w-50?!
Yeah I know it's a bit thick, but I honestly think a little extra cushin doesn't hurt either. Being a some what high milege car... Hood is gonna keep the same colors, im just leveling it out. Anyone out there, interested in a hood swap?????uhhhh yeah it's not good, 5.0s take 10w-30 for a reason. 5w-50 is way too thick when warmed up. BTW redo the hood teal with black scoops, and make it more even this time.
I like it, on your car.heres the hood up close...

its also good enough for the new 5.8 liter shelbys5W-50 good for diesel engines.
im just so confused on everyones opinion, my car doesnt leak, squeak, or rattle from the engine its self. ive been using this oil for a long time now and no problems all year round...its also good enough for the new 5.8 liter shelbys
Start using 5w-30 or what ever is listed under the oe hood or engine bay and it will run longer. The comment regarding the importance of getting oil between the bearings ect. is no joke.im just so confused on everyones opinion, my car doesnt leak, squeak, or rattle from the engine its self. ive been using this oil for a long time now and no problems all year round...i know 5w-50 is like syrup but old betty loves it!
