Hooking up a window switch 96' 4.6

I posted this already in the 96-98 tech but havn't had much luck there. So since this is based on nitrous, I'll give this forum a try.

On a 96' 4.6, where is the best place in the engine bay to get the RPM signal for the window switch? I was wondering if splicing
into one of the wires going to either of the coil packs would work.

I am like 99% sure i used one of the clip splicers and spliced onto my coil pack.

what unit do you have and are you trying to install?

I've already looked at the instructions that come with the switch on the internet....they are not car specific. It just tells you to run
the green wire to an RPM signal.
