horn honking sometimes

I've got a 96Gt I don't have the original keys and don't have a remote but today one of my employee's said my horn would honk every now and then also the Round piece that is around key hole on column just swivels around is this my problem?

Could be the security system. Not sure about our cars but in most GMs there are two teeny tiny wires in the column for the security that break all the time that can cause anything from a no start to the alarm going off at random times. I know the 94-95s didn't have them but they also didn't have the PATS system.

even if it was a security system it should not randomly honk the horn.

ok so I have tried the thumb thing around the key not sure exact word for it but if I keep it as close to even with the key it doesn't honk the horn but my door locks will randomly unlock, any ideas
