I have a 98 cobra JLT cold air intake bbk x-pipe flows and a b&m short throw every thing else is stock. Runnin nitto555R drag radials 315/35/17 stock gear.

best 1/8th mile last sat was
1.9751-----60 ft
8.6190-----1/8 et
83.18-----mph

best 1/4 has been
2.038------60
8.710------1/8th
81.73------mph
13.505-----1/4
92.40------mph


what do yall think is that about all I can get out of it without goin full slicks? or et's

13.5 @ 92 mph? Did you let off on the big end? That's really low mph for the ET.

The 1/8 mile seems to line up with the mph but the 1/4 is stock 5.0 territory.

something HAD to have happened for that low 1/4 mile trap......hell he was already doing 83mph at the 1/8th mile

I dont know I thought it was really odd too I also ran some 13.70's at 101-2 and a few 13.8-9 at 99 and 100 I didnt miss a gear slow down or anything hell it felt better than any pass I have made my 60ft times on them passes were all 2.0's

You can always do gears that will raise your RPM and your MPH at the end of the track giving you a better ET

Do you not want to go to DR's or Slicks? I wouldnt do slicks w/ out doing the rear end anyway. Tempatures play a key factor as well, if you go at the end of the year your times would drop more in the colder air. My best ET run came in Oct of last year.
