I confused...Your v6 made 600 RWHP with a m112 on it? ...the terminators can only make over 500 rwhp with a fully ported blower, bolt ons, smaller pulley...lol

The value of my car isnt based on its power...If all I wanted was power I could have bought/built 600 hp for 1/4 of the price.

touche....but did it last longer than my vortech V8 :) Did your 6er ever break?

Sorry, I was thinking that you weren't going to mod it after you bought it and were a touch over 500 hp. Didn't see you made more now. My V6 put down 517/507 with just the ported blower. Had an NX wet kit on it I never sprayed. Too worried about breaking something. I did run into issues at first. Nobody had ever taken the V6 to the limits we were doing, so I had to push to find the weak points. With a 10% OD crank and 2.8" blower pulley, I kept stretching the head studs and they were lifting off the block causing boost leaks. I settled with the numbers I had and called it good. Car had something like 180,000 on it when I sold it. I sold the motor/draintrain/suspension by itself about two years before someone finally bought the car.

That's impressive. How much PSI were you seeing?

What was your head/cam setup?

Yea, did a fee very minor mods, spend about 1k total with the tune so im very happy with the gain.

holy eff! thats more than my DOCH V8 with the same blower (ported, pullied, etc.)

**** my life. just **** it.

The difference is that the m112 is probably a restriction on your motor...lol

Thats why everyone picks up 100 rwhp with a blower swap but his numbers are still crazy good.

your caddy will never be that...that took some exterior mods...exterior mods and justin=nada, lol. at least snatch that wing up dude dam!

Come on! Ive got a cool front lip spoiler thing in carbon fiber and I made my grills black!

I like to keep my cars simple...most ill ever do is like tint and a slight drop

Don't feel too bad. Back then, the guys who were chasing numbers had heads on the V6 that would flow equal to (or some better than) 32V heads.

I was happy pushing 300 out of a v6 :'(

Way to make us feel like shit lil roush... :p

Sorry. There were a bunch of us chasing that magic "you'll never see 600hp" number. Now, it's a lot more common. I was young and had money to blow. If I were to build a V6 again for another track car, I'd do the blower on a stock motor with a mild cam - call it good.

It was between 18 and 20 psi. I think it peaked 21 at one point, but not something that was normal. Probably just a fluke. I was really over spinning that blower. I had a big Crower cam. There are no aftermarket heads for the V6, so we were all either home porting them or having a shop do it. I did mine myself. Same with the lower intake - stock with a mega-port job. M112 was ported by me as well. Upper intake that mated the blower to the stock lower was my design as well. My long term plan was Whipple, but I just lost interest - then moved to Miami and started a family.

Anyone who bought one of my M112 kits more or less doubled the stock hp at 7-9 psi (most put down 320ish on an otherwise stock motor). It's been awhile. Rico's numbers are the only ones that stand out to me with my kit - mostly b/c I flew out to Dallas for the dyno and he was the first 'production kit' I sold. He hit 330rwhp with blower and exhaust.

Thats awesome. Amazing power from the 6er for sure.

That was with the stock bottom end? Or was it forged?

What type of fuel were you running?

Most likely forged rods and pistons and the 4.2 crank.

Matt, we still have to get together. I want to pick your brain about possible builds haha. You ignited my fire again, and now I can be the young idiot you miss being :)

I had that car for just over a decade. Bought it in 2002 as an impulse buy. I had a '93 fox with a 347 that was my drag car (another story all together) and I was forcing it to be my daily. When I realized I couldn't keep doing that I went to my local Ford dealer in the DFW area (right by Skyler ironically) and was about to buy an SVT Focus when the Roush was traded in. I checked to see if it was real and realized they had it priced wrong. Bought it on the spot with no test drive or anything. Didn't mod if for awhile, then I got tired of V6 haters. Had several versions (N/A, boosted and sprayed 3.8L stock/ 3.8L forged/ 4.2L forged). Ran several different suspensions under it (various Roush versions, coil overs, mix and match MM etc...). Nothing ever more than 93 oct in the tank.

I would do cool stuff with my v6 but I haz no monies and the hole 188k miles and autotrans thing are holding me back a bit too. I would love a m90 swap, or even a dual port swap, but this is my only car and work 5-6 days a week along with going to school 5 days a week so a major build is just out of the picture right now.

But seriously though lilRoush, Jeremy, and Orange are some of my idols for where I want my car to be someday. Because yall all have had some of the sickest, by far, v6 Mustangs I have ever seen.
