How much can these pistons take?

The '94-'95 5.0s had hypereutectic which are a little better than a cast piston.

Cast pistons aren't ideal for nitrous, but if you keep your tune dialed and you're using nitrous correctly, you'll be fine. I'd probably keep it to 100 or maybe 125 shot.

there is nothing wrong with a hypertectic piston and the stock ones will take a hell of a beating. i personally made 100s of passes on my stock 93 shortblock. was making well over 550 rwhp for years

I wasnt planning on saving this motor but it looks like ill keep the nitrous tuned down low until the end of the season.

I would swap them out for some forged pistons and spray the hell out ofit , but thats just me. i installed some forged speed pro pistons into my setup , and i love them.

I have already started putting it together. I dont have that kind of room. i think im going with a 351 in my next engine so this one is just for some fun until I can do that.

If youre willing to do a 351, than you should be willing to do a 408 :headbang:
