Lets say it is an average higher mileage (like upper 150k or higher) sn95, no major problems, some stuff is wrong like ripped drivers bolster, window motors are going bad, some clearcoat issues etc. Stuff fairly normal for an almost 20 yr old car. I know they can be had cheap but just wanting opinions. I know I could look on kbb etc but that doesnt get an accurate number i feel for most cars. Just seeing what fellow sn95ers think. In my mind its worth about 2-3k because rusted out foxes go for that, and besides weight, i feel the sn95 is a much much nicer driving, looking car. Just doesnt feel as outdated.

2-4k depending on how nice it is. 4k being a great condition higher mileage car thats been cared for.
We overpaid for mine a couplle years ago, $4k for it with 160-someodd miles, rebuilt title, shitty paint, but a clean interior except for the drivers bolster.

If it doesnt show its age and was well taken care of, I'd say no more than $4k. You can always replace an engine or tranny. But if its a beat up 160k mile car, its junk.

Bought my 99 with 165k on the clock for 2650, paint looked great then, now I realize they probably had sprayed it at MAACO a month before as its peeling.
There was also a healthy dent in the front bumper that I pulled the minute I got it home ha.
Also had some gangsta rims on it.
But mine was a 6, a GT I would have probably said 4 or more for a 99 in like condition, considering I have had no problems

I paid $5k for my 162k mile cobra w/ minor body issues(small boo boo on 1/4 panel) but otherwise very clean for its age, w/ perfect interior, like new carpet, dash, you get the idea. That is the absolute max i'd pay for any SN95.
I had a '98 that was in better overall condition with 180k miles on it, but it had a strange knocking sound(knocked cold sometimes, hot sometimes, not at all most of the time), maybe tensioner, maybe flexplate, couldn't chase it down. I bought it for about $2500 and sold it for $3200. As cheap as these cars can be found in good condition there's really no reason to settle for one w/ multiple issues.

I'd say its about 2500 buck car... but I wouldnt mess with one that has the bad paint/clearcoat issues these cars were known for unless you know paint or have a way of getting it done for a good price.
That is the biggest beef I have with my Cobra. Its 100% mechanically sound, dead nuts reliable, runs pretty decent for what it is, but looks like a turd because of the failing paint.

:thumbsup: I think it depends more on wheree you are located than the condition of the car. In snow, salt, rust & care care or lack of will tell you what you can get. I am in TEXAS, not much snow or salt, 94-99 with 100-150K in "GOOD" condition go for between $4-6K. I am a member of the North Texas Mustang Club and have seen 95-98 show pony's go for $10K.
i only paid $3600 for my 95gt. 145k, all original black paint in great condition, black leather in great condition...no rips tears or cracks, fully loaded and never molested. im only the second owner of this car, previous owner gave me a file over 4inches thick of every bit of service ever done to this car, all at the ford dealership in south carolina where they are from.

We over paid for my car, my step dad said if it wasnt 4 degrees outside when he bought it he wouldnt have paid 2 for it. Cause the paint doesnt match on one side of the car its got 170k miles rear ends going out a arm bushing sqeaks like crazy and came with a full sized flat spare and the paint is just straight rough and the body has some damage to it. I mean I love my car but its not diamond.
Sorry for sorta off topic but if its a nice clean car with decent paint and nothing clunking or grinding 3 or so but where Im from everyone seems to think their sn95 is worth as much as a new edge..

Yeah little issues dont bother me because Ive parted out so many I have alot of odds and ends and sn95s are like second nature to me. Just the last one i parted i didnt make much cash so i didnt want to pick this up and be stuck with it. Im already stuck with my white one lol
And paint isnt an issue for me personally. I work for a automotive paint wholesaler and my dad owns a bodyshop. So asthetics are covered.

I'm trying to buy a cheap sn95 myself and i cant find nothing under 3500 here for a decent car.. last year i saw many for under 2500.. bought a 94 gt for 1400 smogged and registered with 134,000. Cant find nothing like that right now

I paid 1,200 for my blue 94 GT.
Overdrive didnt work, interior is so-so. Had tweaked front and rear end. Suspension is GONE. Motor ran perfect.
Mileage is unknown. But its alot. Ive had the chance to sell it and double my money, but to me its nice having a toy. And it cleans up well enough to be a friday night date car.

It had no major problems, had a flat spot that would cause it to almost stall in first but I knew that was the MAF needing to be replaced, the ad was for 2500 he dropped it to 2000 as soon as we pulled up to look at it, I was able to talk him down to 1500 + some money for the explorer intake and parts for installing it. He really wanted the car gone i guess, probably had tried to fix a lot on it to get the flat spot gone or he needed XMass money. So far even though it frustrates me a lot when it does have problems it's problems have all been easy and cheap to fix and all from it being 16 years old aside from the water pump which took all day and the clutch which ended up costing more than i paid for the car but i got a free flywheel out of that.

Bout 2k maybe 3k if it has some hard to find/get items through out the car.

Me and you have the exact same car. Mine has more miles but as far as looks when you bought it, mine is the same just lowered a tad more. lol
