I got a volkswagen beetle for free sold it for $1500 my mustang so I basically paid nothing for it so even if i sold the car for 2500 before the paint got bad again I would still be on top so for me the $700 paint job is totally worth it

my friends dad owns a paint shop and they are painting a '87 monte carlo ss for some idiot. i walked in the shop and i thought they were already done with the car, little did i know they didnt even start yet. the car was soooo clean, but the guy wanted it to be a "show car" so he is now paying $8500 for all the body work and paint to be done on the car.
