how to get NICE tint??

ok i am going with 5 % i think its the only way to go ....so im guessing the quarter glass is done the same way as the rear glass so you dont get that area that looks like it has no tint lol

most definitely get 5%... I'm waiting on some extra cash to get mine redone.

The guy that did mine put a strip of black vinyl over the "dot-matrix" so you can't see it anymore. Then tinted the window as usual.

my tints just so dark you can't see the dots lol

i did my own tinting, i just gotta do the rear glass, came out pretty good if i do say so myself. the only thing wrong with it is that there is a bug stuck between the window and tint (how it got there without me seeing it is beyond me), but its hardly visible

The rear is the hardest part. < and you won't be saying it soo easy once you get done.

What's your plan on how you're going to tint it.. Try in one big piece or small pieces or what??

2 pieces cut at the middle defroster line, bottom first, then line the next one up, the bottom is just gonna be a bee-otch, cause im gonna have to take out the carpet underneath the window along with the molding to get in there

I just sacked up and paid a tint guy 200, it was fine for 7 years and looked great. He either covered or removed the dot's, I dont know.

I also never register my car in the state I live in, so tint laws are enver enforced, lol.

i want to be able to see at night (its a must from my dad because he got NAILED one morning when it was still dark by a high school kid that didn't have his lights on. wasn't really his fault but after that, he took the dark tint off his truck) but i want it dark..

how dark is like 25%? i kinda want to make it hard to see inside but i think i will have to do 5% to do that

25% is perfect if you dont want people to look inside, my buds got that on his camaro and i think its the best

15% is getting pretty dark though and i dont want my tint to block my view of on coming cars at night. i know tint is going to do that no matter what but i dont know if 15% would be to dark.. when i go get my tint, will the place have like samples of the different percentages? because i dont want to spend 200 bucks and not be happy.

even with the 15% on my rear and quarter windows, it was pretty easy to see in during the day... and a little bit difficult at night.. I will not do it again, and I'm going 5% ASAP..

5% is DARK if you have good go ahead but if you wear glasses you better roll down the windows
