Alright ive got a dioblosport tuner and for some reason its not workin now and my car has a tune in it but i want that tune gone and back to the original tune is there any way to remove the tune without taking it to a shop, ive heard that unhooking the battery for x amount of time will remove it but does that really work? Anybody got any advice?

I know that the SCT tuners load your stock tune onto the device before you put the aftermarket tune in. I know disconnecting your battery clears codes, but I'm not so sure it will reset your tune to factory.

no, the battery thing will not work. the tune is stored in the computer now, the only way for you to do it is to load a stock tune back with a handheld tuner. why won't the predator work?

i plug it up to put the original tune back in my car and it says that the last tune did not finish writing so it tells me it is going to restore the original backup witch is what i want so i go through the steps it tells me to about turning the ignition off an back on after doing this the bar shows up to inform me the original is being installed after about 3% of finishing or just a couple sec it quits writing the tune and says the original cannot be restored? Can anybody help me here...

+1 all unplugging the Battery does is reset your kam. Chances are the Predator firmware took a shit. Next time try buying a real tuner.

Most likely what happened is your stock tune file is corrupted. I don't know much about the Predator, but can you plug it into your computer with a USB or some kind of data cable? maybe you can check if the tune and everything is still on there that way, I know you can do stuff like that with a SCT Xcal. Otherwise, i would call Diablo and ask them if they can help you.
