ok, as most of you know I have the camaro that I'm working on. What would you guys do to reach the 11 second mark. I have a friend who's car runs 11.37's while spraying(it's a monte). He's taken his apart and will probably have his done around the same time as me. So I want mine to be faster.

I made a big post in the buidl thread but most people don't go to the build threads often lol. So I'm asking you guys what you would do, if you were me and you were trying to get to the 11 second mark.

I could spray it except I want it naturally aspirated. big block backed by a manual trans.

Ok well either way you look at it a big block and manual trans running 11s in a pig of a car wont be cheap or easy.

^^ it's not really a pig of car, I mean it doesn't weigh that much stripped down, maybe 1500 with what I have on it now.

What's wrong with a manual trans and a big block to run 11's with? I think the car could be capable of running 11's with about 3k

Just read your build thread, you arent being realistic. Sorry man but you just arent. Wanting a car that you can see clear through the floorboard on to run 11s with a manual and 500 ci motor, all the while being street legal, and cheap...things just dont work like that. I doubt that car weighs 1500 pounds...highly. When I took my cousins 79 camaro (complete minus wheels/tires, glass, and gas tank) to the shredder I got 150 bucks for it. They were paying 5.00 per hundred, you do the math.
