Id love to have the opportunity to drive a nice stalled auto. A auto will always own the dragstrip, but I prefer a manual for a dd sports car.

I'd be down to race someone at the track with a t56 or comparable trans with the same hp levels..just to see what kind of differences there can be..

I would enjoy running one of these far and few between unicorns.. It can be done, but nowhere near consistently, and that's where it matters when the money's on the line, me vs a stick car, I won't lie I would not sweat too much at all.

The fuck are you guys rambling on about now..?

Some people like autos, some like manuals. The end.
Either make this thread semi-entertaining or its gonna get locked.

^ truth.. Ok well agree to disagree, yes a stick car can do it, but how many times when I money or bracket race I will always rely on my auto, I would like to own a 96-98 for a daily with a 5 speed and an m112 just for fun.. But when it's business, big daddy will always be pulled out before anything, I know what she's capable of, and capable of it time after time..

1. I'm not a mod so i'm not the one who's going to lock it. These types of threads always get locked sooner or later.
2. I never said you were fighting. Re-read my post.
3. You're talking about a topic that is mostly opinion based.
4. Why did you put 'lol' 4 times in the same sentence!?

Well I think it's a legitimate set of opinions, I think anyone trying to decide which direction to go with on their vehicle should read all of this, there are very good points and even better knowledgable and experienced expertise coming from both angles, yes it's a biased topic but everything in life is, so go ahead and lock it up, but it'll just arise again in another thread like a hard dick under the sheets on a cool night.

This site was great then everyone left and the MODs had to send out email to get people to come back .. I see why .

Ya I already was looking at it .. I agree automatics are great after you build them but the fun level is just not there and stock there the worst mustangs ever made. Automatic Sn95 are bigs that run 16 in the 1/4 lol

For the record, my stock 96 NPI AUTO with a 3.73 rear end ran 14.5s- 14.6s

And when i talk about my car vs a manual car, im basically speaking about how much faster the autos are with the same power.

Of course there is other manual cars that run 11s, but how many sub 400 rwhp manual mustangs do you see run low 11s?

I thought about going t56, but decided I wanted to actually go fast and not deal with the heavy clutch in traffic when I was making 700 rwhp. lol
