Lmao I love these reads, always funny :). Stick is all around more fun to drive, but a stalled auto will almost always outperform in when making big HP numbers. My cousin's 83' 408w stroker with a 150 shot runs 10.4 with a HUGE stalled auto, but he's swapping in a TKO600 I believe whenever he gets time, he can't even drive it around town without the tranny boiling over :/. My car is slow, but I run pretty consistant times with it at 13.3, I ran 3 13.3@103mph passes in a row, then hit a 13.2 on a 5k clutch drop :). That was a bone stock tune Mach 1 at 1500ft elevation on slicks and 4.10s. My friends Mach with a tune, exhaust, et street radials was running 13.0/12.9@106mph. I dunno about you guys, but I don't feel like caging my street car and my goal is high-mid 11s, and banging threw the gears is damn fun on slicks :D

I just want to let you know that an auto car can not be fun and is only able to go fast in a straight line. You can not hold gears or take corners fast or you will die.

This is a fact. Everyone knows that it is impossible to have fun in a car with an automatic transmission. Also, the fastest cars on the earth do not run automatic transmissions, there for they must be inferior to ALL manual transmissions, no matter who is driving.

You sound like you're trying to defend your dick size JustinSchmidt1. Quit trying to impress people with facts about your tiny dick, no one will be impressed, you're wasting your time.

Yea, same here. My 2 incher does some mufucking damage when it hits at 96.72 mph with my viscous coupling unit heading towards mecca az with aids behind it.

FYI, coming from someone who could even diagnose and fix a simple vacuum leak on thier own, your posts have very, VERY little value.

Explain what f1, baja buggies, veyrons, and funny cars have in common with your avg 5/6 speed street car......

Ill stick with my final statement which is for your average street car/ drag racer, a good auto will be faster than your normal everday t 45, t56, or w/e in a straight line

Stick shifts are so sweet. If I buy a new Mustang, it's gonna have a stick shift, despite the one-second ET loss from it.

I love these debates - fan boys on both sides who are so narrow minded they think their application is the only one that ever matters, so they blindly defend what they have as the end all answer for everyone.

Autos have their strengths just as much as manuals have their strengths. Both have weak points. NEITHER is the end all transmission in a Mustang. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just FOOLISH.

That was why I brought up the roadrace/auto-x idea. but just as you mentioned they are too narrow minded to admit that there might be a time or place that their #1 might not be #1. They both have thier advantages and disadvantages... Hopefully no one is getting thier panties in too much of a wad about this and can take a step back and see how funny it really is.

Yeah road racing, you would have trouble for sure... Heat is a killer, but doable just not as efficient as a descent 5 speed driver.. Straight line different world.. Just pick your poison.. I like to cruise a 5 speed that's why my gti is a 5 speed, but when money talks the auto comes out..
