theyre aluminum world jr. heads. 1.94 intake and 1.6 exhaust, im going to be putting them soon with my explorer intake and maybe a cam.
im also thinking of going with longtube headers and an o/r h pipe.

nothing wrong with those, they are a good product for the price. Its a good head for a 'budget' build, should work nicely O0

I never had the first thing done on my 91 in terms of tuning. When I sold it and Chris got it he took it to a dyno shop to do a run with it and it turned out that the a/f was spot on ( so it was luck I guess ) . I would thing it would help to have it done but as far as a must do I dont think so. Its not like putting heads/cams/intake on a modular car.

always had this problem?? You have the GT40 intake or the Corba Matt? Either one retains the low end tq the 302 is so famous for. And with the E cam and those heads you should have a NICE low end grunt to your car.

The problem has sorta been there for quite a while mabye even since I got it, but i dont know if its just getting to me or what but its seemed even worse lately. MY buddy has a 91 LX HB, short shifter, headers and a H pipe and he has NO problem keeping up with me :'(

Do you have a dyno around you somewhere?? That would be the BEST way to see what the hell is going on. Just to run it for 2 or 3 pulls shouldn't cost you more than 50 or 60 bucks ( thats with your A/F ratio ) so that would be a worthwile investment in a effort to diagnose you prob.

You have done the normal stuff right ( plugs/ air filter / fuel filter/ timing / Oil change / carbon clean / injector clean ) I know your car was in storage for a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time so that could have a hand in this maybe :dunno:

Ive done full syn change, trans rear etc not that that matters.
New Cap & Rotor
New IAC
New o2 Sensors
New PVC valve
TPS is good
Plugs and wires have like one summer on them
Fuel filter one summer
Timing last summer 14*
I do need to clean the air filter but it shouldn't be too bad.

Ive been told by ppl that the injector cleaner is junk, never did a carbon clean, my buddys shop has a machine that pumps this crap thru your motor, super hot and its some crazy cleaner and is supposed to clean it all out (you run your motor on the stuff) its expensive though like $100 to get it done.

Yeah we do have a local dyno its $72 for a few pulls. $120 a hour with tuning (mabye play with fuel pressure and timing)

There is a guy I know on stangnet that said he can make me a custom chip for cheap. Ive planned on going to the dyno getting some info there then getting a chip made. I have my EGR deleted but the egr valve is just sittin on my intake, I got a smog elim kit gonna rip all that out then get him to burn me a chip to elminate the EGR...mabye a few more things...any suggestions? Ive heard that sometimes a bad egr can cause sluggish performance so mabye thats messing me up?

Its really got nothing in the low end!?

Sounds like a good deal you got on them.

I dont have the Jr. heads I have Win. Seniors. My car picked up about 125 hp at the wheels.... but I think that had less to do with the heads and more to do with the 342 stoker kit that went in at the same time.
Seriously though, I love those heads and either model makes very good numbers for the money.
