My MOTOR runs fine and has like 4k miles on it. But I have problems that the other guy ghetto rigged everything....
Or just straight screwed it up and now I gotta fix it.
I've been driving it for 3 years... lots of fixes haha

Any of the better tuning features, no bolt on turbo kit's, any cams worth buying, fuel system is retarded (returnless is superior).

So exactly how lol is a returnless system superior? all i've every heard from people with them and from tuners is how bad the returnless systems are. and exspecially since they have less market support.

But yea, I've outrun one... and it was a vert with 5 people in it........................ didn't feel like a win and i've lost to all the other pi's

These tuner's need to learn their trade better then, variably regulating the voltage is a better approach then just slaming a massive voume though the lines hoping enough makes it. It's better for driveability mainly, and part's availablility. It's pretty simple to throw in a GT(supercar) pump and have as much capability as you need. There's no need for an aftermarket, what would they supply? No band aid regulators or any of that nonesense.

Of course when they first appeared everyone was all worried, just like when fuel injection and overdrive appeared, and figuring out how to rip it off and go backwards. And of course people will always stay stuck on the last thing rather than the new thing, people hate change.

This is why I got the procharger. :thumb: It pulls most pretty nice now. Now I am saving some cash for the pi motor build up. I love my 98 I just had to help her out in the power department alittle.

The car's definitely have potential, it's just most people never tap it. And they do have their shortcomings as well.

That's cause most guys fall into the "bolt-on" powah scam. I started it. Then I did my research, talked to some real Stang owners, builders and realized that bolt-on's are just cosmetic upgrades..lol

Well that and the fact that the car's are getting cheap to buy, but they still aren't cheap to make fast. I mean a 2k investment in N/A power might net you 300 hp, 2500 Fi, around 350. That's pretty lame, I think alot of people get discouraged, even if they layed out the cost, they would see it's not much more expensive than any other car with bolt on's.
