ive seen Mystichromes around here, alot of Convertibles actually. im not sure why, but they just dont do it for me like the 96 Mystics.

I haven't seen any over this way... I'd like to have one. 96 or 04, doesn't matter to me. I'll take either, I'm not picky.

If I got that car, I don't think I'd do anything to it, because it's mystic chrome. I'd rather have a none mystic chrome cobra... and modify it. I'm not a huge fan of the mystic chrome purple color either, but I do know where a couple are that are around where I live.

I wonder if Ford was the first car company to use the flip flop color, because around 1996, and 1997 that's when the custom import cars started using that color on their Toyota Supra's.

LOL, Mysti-chrome became a win when they got rid of the nasty brown/gold/orange whatever that was in the flop paint. The 96-98 "chrome illusion" was gross. It wasn't perfected till the 03-04 cobra got the purple/blue/green illusion paint that it was actually attractive. No matter the color, a mustang is just a mustang for the most part.

Nice car. There are a bunch of mystic's (i think 3-4 of them on our local mustang board) and all have vortech's on them. There was three mystichrome. 2 coupe/1 vert. One of the coupes was caged, built motor, fast system etc, the other coupe is a 2.6kb/nitrous car. Vert is stock.

A mustang is a mustang to me, granted cobra r's and a few others were special, but there are people out there with cars like the one in the ad, so there will always be some perserved for Barrett Jackson. LOL

how can you not love those things when they roll by and flash all their colors? I can clearly remember the first 3 I saw in motion. It is the only car that has ever made me stop a roadtrip to turn around on the hwy and go back and check out infront of a house with a for sale sign. I hated that sign, and that add above........
