Look like a couple of nice little fixer-uppers. A little wax here, some Zymol there, and they'll be good to go. Good luck with the projects.

I plan to buy a '69 with no engine to build up to a track car. Gotta love the hobby... O0

my first car was an 82 gt with t-tops. it was in great shape for the year. had about 120k on it and the a/c still worked. the previous owner put some glass packs on it and it was freakin loud. good memories

looked just like this

I think its great you bought them...i'm at the point where i would rather buy an older Mustang and make it 100% what i want it to be instead of an 05+. I'd like a 68 Fastback but the old timers have driven the prices up even on junkers so i might be looking for an early 80's Fox just like you did and build it up in a few years.

these are my 2nd and 3rd 4 eyed mustangs, first being an '85 gt, 302, 5 spd...so i guess im kinda biased bout fox bodies :hammer: here in KS u always see the 87-93 foxes, but never see the 4 eyed stangs, i like to be different from every1 else

but yes i do plan on swapping to the '86 front bumper, only b/c the '82 bumper is cracked in 3 places, + it lets me use a 4" cowl hood

thanks every1 :thumb:

thanks man, the set up for the 82 consists of:

this set up was made by Ed Curtis
93-95 Lightning 351w roller block stroked to 408 ci, AFR 225 heads, AD Performance Stroker kit, APR main bolts w/ girdle, APR head studs, custom cam by Ed Curtis, Super Victor intake (ported to match heads), Pro-Systems carb, 1 3/4 to 1 7/8" primaries with 3" collector, 3" exhaust

pump gas friendly compression, 4500-5000 stalled c4, 4.10 gears, 28x10.5 slicks, hoping to see low-mid 10's
