time for a tear down and rebuild

Hopefully it won't be that serious. Did the car come with any kind of warantee?
no..

sounds like time to drop some dough on a forged shortblock.

You wanna lend him the money? :hammer:
 Yeh ill def take donations. He was saying worst case id either have to replace the block or possibly get a stroker kit. lol. If i do replace the block i think id go with a 99+ cobra engine. Prolly not the 03-04 cuz i got nearly no money. But if it needs replaced might as well do it right the first time.

well from what i can remember the 99+ came with better heads and more aggressive cams. I think....don't quote me on that. But i have heard they are better. ill have to do more research on that later if it really comes down to it. :dunno:

i heard the 96-98 respond better to bolt-ons...make over 300RWHP on bolt-ons pretty easy.if i was you, i would forge out your current motor and get some 03/04 heads.

let the car suck up some more seafoam, once it starts smoking a little bit... turn the car off for about 10-15 minutes start it back up and see if anything changes

Man sorry to hear that. Try that though because I have a feeling that will work out some of the crap. And it cant hurt if the car barely runs and you do need a new block ya know? Keep us posted man.

Ive already run 2 cans of seafoam thru it. I doubt running another will change the fact there is something wrong internally. :(

i have used seafoam on numerous occasions and have never heard for experienced this problem. The biggest thing when running the seafoam thru is to keep it at low RPM's i NEVER take it about 3,000RPM.

Trey dont throw it away if you dont want it i will take it lol

Yeh i would have to agree with u. Ive done shitloads of research looking for ppl that have similar experiences with seafoam and have found very few that have had bad things happen. i would say 95% of the time seafoam works and ppl love it. I fell into the 5% that things happen to. Im not pissed and im not saying seafoam was the complete cause of this horrible problem just that it didn't become apparent until i used it.

so it fucked up ur engine 4 good ?
not sure. They have to pull the engine out to see what the hell is fucked up. They couldn't find anything up top. It looks like the seafoam washed a lot of the carbon down into the bottom of the engine possibly fucking up a valve....or a connecting rod....or a piston....or bearings....lol. They have a lot of ideas what it could be and none of which i like cuz they will all make me go broke.
