I'm starting my teardown for the turbo install, but this is my first 'project' with a Mustang. What is this?

my origional module has 180,000+ miles on it.
the foxes have problems because it's attached to the dizzy and the heat kills them

most ignition problems are the stator in the dizzy not the TFI module, but its always good to have spare parts.

I think the heat thing was more of a Fox issue back when those used to be mounted on the distributor. With the nice heat sync and mounted on the fender, they are actually quite safe and reliable there. I'm 16 years and 202k miles deep on the original one, and it still works well.
