Whats up punks! Not sure if you guys even remember me..But I just purchased a mustang on friday. '89 LX. 5 Spd, gt40p heads, trickflow stage 1 cam, and all kinds of other goodies. :icon_rr: :icon_rr: :icon_rr: :angel4:

Yes, I figured out the issue. Was not PTV issues..the drivers side cam gear came loose. I sold the car, the dumbass kid that bought it overrrevved it a bunch..it blew up. *sigh*. Ill put up pics up the new whip tomorrow.

Lmao. Shut up Duff. I had a mechanic work on the 2v with me..what happened to the car wasnt our fault. I also paid an ASE certified ford dealership mechanic to inspect the motor, ran it with the valve covres off and said it was fine. I dont know how he could have missed the cam gear shifting..but whatever.

I've worked on 5.0's before, its a much easier walk in the park than the 4.6.
