Honestly the idea of getting everyone in the state on this forum together in one place is a nice idea but we would probably be better off doing 2-3 spread out. Unless its a great show indy is 3 hrs one way for me so a 6 hr round trip would need a little more of a gurantee of meeting some new people, ya know? Maybe post up some places and dates around you and your town that you think would be worth the trip to see. Maybe if we get a list of a few we can pick a few out and see what happens.

For me, anyone thought about comming down south for frog follies? Its the only reason I could think about somone comming down to visit e'ville but it is one HELL of a show. I think last year they had 2000 hot rods? My mustang club normally has a cruise-in the friday before as well that has 100+ cars.

HUGE parts area as well at this show, I am considering getting a set of wheels at this years because they had 4-5 different manf there with some great deals, Tire truck was right next door as well. Ride-tech is local so they have a scale you can weigh your car on for free.

from terre haute it would be worth it for the trip. Its just amazing to see a 4h center packed to the gills with hot rods and parts for sale. Bring yer wallet as there is always great deals on detailing stuff, to switches/buttons to wheels.

I like the frogfollies idea. I've been once when I was much much younger. I've totally forgot about it being as it's been so long. Regardless if that's what many of us decide to meet up at I'll be driving down there with the gf in our stangs because she's never been and what better way to introduce her to awesome shows than this.

I will try to put up a reminder a month or so before then to see if anyone else is interested and even if just a few of us get together it could be fun. Not too many shows you can walk around all day long, never see the same thing 2 times and the swap meet is the biggest I have seen around. Maybe you can help me pick out some wheels...

I was going to make an invite at the beginning of july to come to Evansville the weekend of frog follies, the last week in aug. My mustang club has its cruise in that Friday night and all the hot rods from the frog follies are around. Its a nice show for cars as well as for a huge swap meet. Ridetech is there to weigh your car if you want, I hope to find a nice set of wheels so if anyone wants some 17" black bullets with 10" rears there might be a set available that weekend.
