I have a 95 GT with a 302. Full exhaust, larger throttle body, bumped the timimg, a/c and smog pump delete and a bunch of other mods unrelated to the engine. I am planning on installing an upper and lower intake off of a 97 explorer and gt-40 heads next. I have a power pipe intake from Anderson Ford Motorsports and a MAF calibrated for my mods AND a set of 24LB injectors. My question is this: Will installing the intake and the 24LB injectors work well with my current set-up? I am worried that it wont run correctly.

Also forgot to mention that i wanted to intall a cam at the same time I do the heads. Any suggestions as to which ford racing cam works well with those heads and intake??

I am also planning on running this set up and from what i found everyone says the trickflow stage 1 works well with the gt40 heads. also steeda 19. i have heard alot of different opinions on the ford cams but i would say if you were going to use one use the e303. I'm sure there are many different opinions but this is what i think hope it helps.

You need a tune for the injectors, or a cobra computer for it to run right. Trickflow stage 1 cam. It will be a nice setup!

i thought the point of having the MAF calibrated was to "trick" your stock computer into thinking you are still running the same injectors

Do a search, the "trick" is not the way to go, you can get a mail order tuned chip for the price of the MAF and call it a day. Plus if you change your setup it can be retuned which is always nice, you can even send it back to the place you got it and have them retune for cheap if you don't want to pay for a dyno tune. I just went threw a similar situation. Check out dirtdirtyracing.com thats where I got mine for 159.99 for the MOATES chip and it only costs 10.00 plus shipping to retune. All you gotta do is plug it in to the J3 port. 2002BLGT is the member here that owns the place or at least represents them, great guy to deal with and no I am not affiliated just a pleased customer.
