As stated i installed both the plenum and the 70 mm TB today from the stock set up on my 96 mustang GT 4.6, I then downloaded my custom Bama tune that i have been waiting to install, I downloaded the street and the performance tunes. My problem is that when driving it lets say i am up to 4000 RPM shifting from second to third the car is staying at that 4000 or coming down very slowly so when i let the clutch out it brings the RPM's back down suddenly??? I hope you understand what i am trying to say it just seems like the RPMs are hanging up there until i let the clutch out....Not sure if this is normal or not but i never noticed this before changing the plenum and TB and adding the Tunes??????

You need to data log what is going on and then send it back to the tuner. Be careful with the out-of-the-box mail order tunes...they are rarely ever right on the first try.

Also, check/clean your IAC/MAF, I doubt its either of those but it would be a start.

You made two changes at once. Try the stock tune with the Plenum/TB and see if the tune or the combo install that is your problem. Also doublecheck the hoses etc...

they can fix it with the tune, but it might take a few tries to get it perfect.

i put my trickflow plenum on last week too, had to leave one of the vacuum lines off to get a barb fitting and it held my rpms up. always check vaccuum leaks first, or simply because they are uber easy to pin point
