A little over a week ago I got up under the car to find my upper control arms were really bad. I have J&M spherical/poly lowers already. So I figured it was time to order some new uppers. Ford racing was expensive compared to steeda, and they didn't include housing bushings. Steedas were ford racing control arms, boxed, plated, and came with housing bushings that you don't have to press in. Got them for a hundred bucks from 50 resto.

Turned out real well. Very happy with them. Doesn't bind since it used stock bushings in the arm and poly in the housing. Made a huge difference in the precision of the car. Highly suggest them. I've had healthy stock upper befores, and this is much better then those.

And I didn't take the pictures for the reference, mike went crazy with the camera. lol.

It rides better as well, or it could just be me. But it doesn't walk and is much much smoother in the corners.

How hard was it to swap out the bushing on the diff side?

The kit I used just had me literally drill out the rubber inside the stock housings. I didn't have to change the actual metal shell. The poly one slid right into the factory bushing outer metal shell, and had a cap for the other side. Wasn't bad at all Danny, just took an air tool or to to make them clean up easier

I know but i will be cleaning it up to look like new. The car sat in an impound yard for 3 years before i bought it. And who ever owned it before me drove the hell out of it. Oh well it's got a better home now.

Good. I used to deal with rust alot. But anymore if it's a rusty car I just say no thanks. I don't really have an interest in having to restore a modern muscle car lol.
