okay, which line do i plug it into on my o2? lol. the white one or the blue one?

We took a voltage meter and red the volts off each one and i just pluged it into the one with the highest reading...

then i plugged it into the sterio (Yellow) wire for power..... does the car have to be running for it to work? or can the key just be "on" .... i cant believe im struggling so much.. i feel like a retard having an argument with a door knob....
