Wtf? Let me reiterate this. You bought AN edelbrock intake and 70mm throttle body. You plan on adding a 75 shot on soon And you want to know if you will notice a bigger performance gain with the intake and throttle body or the cam?

Say wha? Did you already buy and install the Intake and tb? From my understanding they would work BEST as a combo with your 150 shot but they are completely different, so eh I don't see the logic in comparing the two. :dontknow:

He just wants to know what makes a bigger difference in performance, the intake or the cam. To answer the question, you'll probably feel more of a difference in the cam.

sorry i was in a hurry when i posted this and I wanted to know what would be the biggest gain in power? should I pay 300 bucks for cam and lifters or 400 bucks for edelbrock upper and lower and 70mm throttle body? I currently have the car torn apart for head gaskets and just curious what i should do

I wouldn't use an e cam with the stock intake/heads. I doubt that combo would work well together and performance gains if any would be minimal, especially if you don't upgrade the springs.....i'd just leave the stock cam in until you upgrade the heads and intake but that's just me. If I had to choose one or the other I would choose the intake but wouldn't expect a huge power gain with the stock heads/cam. Have fun with the nitrous though

yea I have been lookin into heads but dont wanna go to deep into the engine until I pay off the loan on the car. But that seems to be a good deal on the intake and throttle body 400 dollars

Intake and TB will be the best for now. You should hold off on the cam until you get the heads done

+1 on intake first, the previous owner of my car put a cam in with stock intake/heads and I feel like it's just robbing me of power

The intake is what I was leaning toward but for sure gonna get it this week. I have a set of 24lb injectors to install I gotta get a mass air to go with them. So intake throttle body 24lb injectors mass air and 75 shot :headbang: What kind of power difference you guys guessing?

The injectors are unnecessary. Changing the injectors will require a tune to make the car run right. Hold off on that until you do heads/cam.

I think you'd be fine with the one you have for now. Better to save that for when you do heads/cam.
