Intake/hood question?
HELP>>>HELP>>>HELP

I have a 347...in a 1994 cobra....with a stock hood.
And I'm wanting to use a (gt40 ported lower) But with a Hogan sheet metal upper? The car is not with me it's in OK...with the builder. Do y'all think this will fit, under the stock 94' cobra hood?

Does anyone have any experience with 94-95 cars with a hogan sheet metal upper? Would this work well with a NA motor? I have a great cam..great flowing heads.... etc. My compression sucks as short block was for a forced induction set up...and it was stolen...so I was trying to use what I have to get the cobra 94' up and running again!

My combo is..

Hogan custom sheet metal upper..
Sheet metal valve covers..
New alt.
New Battery
New ac. system
spec stage 3+ clutch
Gt40 lower intake..heavily ported..
42lb injectors...
aeromotive rails...
aeromotive fuel regulator...
Mexican block..
Has girdle on it..
Windage tray
probe forged -13.8 cc reverse. dome pistons. 9:5:1 compression
eagle h beam rods...
all arp bolts..
canton 7 qt pan.
pro comp heads.. 230/58cc heads
flow: at .600 (intake 296cfm) (Exh 206.8 cfm)
flow: at .700 (Intake 306cfm) (Exh 208.0 cfm)
Heads are good for .800 lift.. all high end stuff in them
afm N-91 cam at .50-- 240/248.....with 1.6 5.76/5.76--lope sep 110 ....(will be usinf 1.7 roller rockers)
1.7 roller rockers new..
comp hardened push rods..
bbk shorty heads..new
bbk off road x pipe..new
bassani cat back...stainless steel..
afm power pipe..N/A
75mm tb
97mm abaco digital mass air meter.
8" filter..
new motor mounts..
New ford racing lifters
Smog pump has been removed.
New Harmonic balancer..
New ford racing water pump
new 3 core radiator..
new electric fan...
also have extra pushing fan in front of condenser..
Autometer gauges..in custom pod under stereo...(phantom)
Oil pressure, water temp, Fuel Pressure.
Custom tune..
255 in tank fuel pump..
All new suspension..
New tires..
New alum. wheel spacer in the rear..looks perfect and flush with the factory 17x8 cobra wheels.

Any ideas if this will fit under my stock hood..and what kind of power this will make

No aftermarket ignition as of yet..
Hoping for 430-480+ rwhp..

Anyone ideas?

depends if you need to run a spacer or not to clear the throttle linkage

you could always get drop motor mounts to gain some room if needed

Im about 99% sure your gonna need a new hood. My hood just barely closes and I have a tubular GT40.

No way your gonna make 430rwhp with 9.5 compression.

So why do you think I will not make 430rwhp?- what are you thinking I will make?

i would say maybe 430 hp to the flywheel would be a better guess...

To the wheels...I would guess prob 375 give or take.

Flywheel def around 430+
